🎉 This is my 200th story on Medium 🎉
I’ve been on Medium for almost 2 years which, in the grand scheme of things, equates to approximately 8 stories per month.
I’ve had my ups and downs, and life has got in the way sometimes, reducing the opportunity to write.
BUT, I’ve always been around.
However, over the last couple of months, I stepped it up a gear (which usually means it’s about to drop down again!) and published more stories.
Maybe it’s because I’ve been out of work, and I’ve had the chance to sit down and gather my thoughts.
Whatever the reason, I have been more than pleasantly surprised to see the views pick up, the reads pick up, and as I write this, I’m currently experiencing my best month ever on Medium!
Success
Not every story has resonated; and some have just flopped, but that’s OK.
Firstly, how do you measure success on Medium? The number of claps received. The number of views, or the amount a story will earn you.
I think, for the majority, we based success on the financial reward. Let’s face it, that’s why we’re in the Partner Program, isn’t it?
