How To Craft Shortform

Writing just 150 words is not as easy as it sounds.

We have to edit like crazy, to remove all the unwanted and unnecessary words, whilst retaining the purpose of the story.

Up to this point, it’s 46 words.

So, one-third of the way to creating my first shortform piece.

Is it ironic that my first piece is dedicated to how to write a shortform article?

I need to remember to include an image, with captions, and I can include a link to other stories. Those words are not counted towards the overall word count.

Ah! But the title does count, so that needs to be considered too.

I do like the fact I need to think carefully.
