I’m Frustrated
I’m a little frustrated. There are lots of stories written, right here on Medium, about how to continuously write stories and publish them, something I’ve done a fair bit since I started in mid-November.
I’m not as prolific as some, but I’m happy with that.
I also commented on a story recently from DeeDee about how long to wait before withdrawing from a publication, because it takes too long, and that’s exactly what’s happening with me at the moment.
Now, I understand this could be due to the merry, festive, time of year and editors are simply downing their tools and enjoying some well deserved Christmas cheer.
I don’t want to come across all ‘bah humbug’, and I totally appreciate the fact that I’m published at all, but it’s frustrating when I have submitted three stories for different publications sitting and waiting. For over a week.
So, THIS story is self-published.
Yep! It may not get the exposure I would like, but at least I’m in control.
So, on this Christmas Eve, I would like to wish everyone who celebrates Christmas as the religious festival that it is, a very merry one.
If you’re partaking in the festive cheer because, well, there’s nothing else to do, then have fun also.
