I’ve decided to try something new.

I’ve started a new publication of my own, right here, on Medium?

Why? you might ask…

• Medium has lots of ways to recommend stories for you to read.
• Maybe you follow an author, and their stories appear in your feed.
• Maybe you follow a publication, and this exposes you to more stories related to what you like.

It might appear in a topic that you follow.

Of course, you may very well find stories because of one of these reasons, or it could be all three.

No-one knows for certain how the Medium algorithm works.

Let’s be honest.

The more ways you can find a story, without having to search, makes it easy for you.

Follow a publication AND an author and you’ll have more chance of finding a story.

And, as a writer, I have more chance that you’ll read the story and I can earn more money!

See. I said I was being honest.
